Children's Home Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at Rochdale Council. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our children's residential service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in the management of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Monitor, review, and audit systems in the home to ensure compliance with Ofsted and operate within the framework of the Children Act, Working Together to Safeguard 2023, and the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
- Supervise workers on a regular basis and undertake annual Delve/Appraisals.
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years' experience working with children and young people.
- Qualification to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in the well-being and inclusion of people with disabilities.
