About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our dynamic Thrombosis Team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to Thrombosis Specialist Nurses in managing patients with suspected or confirmed Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
- Assist with the delivery of evidence-based care, adhering to established DVT integrated care pathways.
- Perform extended HCSW duties, including phlebotomy, under the guidance of qualified nurses.
- Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
- Manage administrative tasks, such as scheduling patient appointments and maintaining accurate records.
