Panel Beater Technician

We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team at Pybus Recruitment in Edinburgh. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.
Main Responsibilities:- Dismantle and Repair: Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair.
- Equipment Operation: Operate all necessary equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions, considering qualification levels, and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
- Manufacturer's Literature: Follow the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins when applicable to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
- Training and Development: Attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
- Customer Satisfaction: Handle all vehicles with utmost care and attention, ensuring that customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep the company's tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
- Qualifications: Preferably with ATA but not mandatory as Time Served Panel Technicians are welcome to apply.
- Benefits: 22 days plus bank holidays (holidays will increase as time served), company pension, cycle to work scheme, employee discount, free on-site parking, health cash plan/reward programme, referral programme, and Monday to Friday schedule - No weekends.
