Panel Beater Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team at Pybus Recruitment in Edinburgh. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair.
  • Operate equipment including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions, considering qualification levels, and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Follow manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins when applicable to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Attend training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
  • Handle vehicles with care and attention, ensuring customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
Requirements:
  • Preferably with ATA but not mandatory as Time Served Panel Technicians are welcome to apply.
