Housing Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Housing Assistant to join our team at Colbern Limited. As a key member of our Lettings front of house desk, you will provide administrative support to our full-time permanent staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Receive and process keys from outgoing tenants

• Provide advice on tenancy endings and send mail-merge letters as needed

• Assist with sending letters for Housing Officers and raising purchase orders

• Send emails to new tenants with tenancy information and attach documents to our document management system

• Update adverts with technical information and bid for properties upon request

• Manage keys for blocks of flats, including ordering and updating spreadsheets

• Collect and process incoming post, log, scan, and disseminate as necessary

• Make call backs to applicants to register them on the Homefinder waiting list

• Handle documents handed in by tenants and applicants, ensuring dissemination and scanning

• Respond to general enquiries via face-to-face and Homefinder website interactions

**Requirements:**

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

**What We Offer:**

• Competitive hourly rate of £15.56

• Full-time office-based position with a Monday to Friday schedule
