**Job Description:**
Bell Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Leader to oversee and drive the performance of our branches across Scotland. This senior leadership role is critical to ensuring that our operations align with the company's strategic goals and uphold our core values.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Accountable for the overall performance of multiple branches across Scotland.
- Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement risk reduction strategies and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
- Act as an ambassador for Bell Group, Scotland, cultivating a positive reputation through our values and behaviours to elevate our profile and market position.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, focusing on retention, growth, and new business opportunities.
- Lead and manage national clients within the region, ensuring high service standards and client satisfaction.
- Build, motivate, and develop high-functioning branch teams responsible for delivering contracted work.
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of profitable growth across regional branches.
- Collaborate with other directors to ensure coordinated efforts to achieve corporate objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with department heads and central teams to support consistent, high performing operations.
- Serve as a valued member of the board by reporting on operational feedback and progress. Positively contribute in open and collaborative discussions to inform decision-making to drive strategic growth and our mission to 'be better.'
- Lead the implementation of the company's corporate strategy in Scotland, ensuring short and long-term objectives are met.
- Oversee budgetary control of overheads across branches, ensuring financial discipline and efficiency.
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment that encourages team success and individual development.
- Recruit, induct, and manage the performance of direct reports, ensuring recruitment strategies are fully inclusive and proactive to ensure teams have the resources they need so that clients receive the best possible level of service.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and support consistency in all areas of the business.
- Take the lead on significant multi-branch contracts, ensuring efficient mobilisation and successful execution.
- Schedule and lead regional meetings with senior staff, supported by national teams as required.
- Relationship management with customers and suppliers to ensure contract implementation, service review, negotiation and problem solving to maintain strong external relationships.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience working with large contracts and managing multiple branches is highly desirable.
