Position Overview:
SmartPro is in search of a proficient Geospatial Survey Specialist to enhance our surveying capabilities. The ideal candidate will be engaged in executing topographical and measured building surveys, developing 3D point cloud models, and conducting precise setting out tasks. This role necessitates the use of advanced surveying technology and software to deliver a variety of survey types tailored to client needs.
Working Conditions: The position typically requires 40 hours of work per week, with travel to various project sites across the UK. A company vehicle will be provided for this purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive topographical and measured building surveys.
- Execute setting out tasks for diverse construction and residential projects.
- Perform site monitoring as required.
- Utilize GPS and other advanced surveying instruments.
- Create and develop 3D point cloud models.
- Employ surveying and CAD software to generate detailed survey drawings.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to meet project specifications.
- Travel to various sites as necessary; a company vehicle will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Degree in surveying or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in CAD and surveying software.
- Familiarity with Trimble equipment and laser scanning (preferred but not essential).
- Valid driver's license.

- Exceptional attention to detail.

- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
