Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead the technical operations of our Medical School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical facilities and equipment, and for providing technical support to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical operations of the Medical School, including the management of equipment, facilities, and staff.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of technical facilities and equipment.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
  • Manage projects of varying sizes, including the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff and students on the use of technical facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including health and safety, procurement, and the Human Tissue Act.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of high-quality leadership and management.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of equipment used in a medical education setting.
  • Experience and knowledge of clinical simulation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing projects of varying sizes.
  • Commitment to the continued professional development of oneself and others.
