As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing planning services to ensure that programme plans and project plans have achievable but challenging timescales, accurately monitored and updated.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage planning services across multiple business units, providing specific planning functions for business unit programmes of work.
- Lead and develop a team of planning professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality planning services.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to understand the roles and responsibilities involved in integrated programmes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of planning systems, including Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Provide programme management for a portfolio of work, comprising multiple individual projects and programmes, to ensure efficient use of resources and minimization of company risk.
- Monitor progress against plans, identifying problem areas and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all staff, implementing the latest health and safety regulations and legislation.
- Minimize waste and reduce project and sub-programme outturn costs.
