Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and supervise exceptional care tailored to individual resident needs.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Lead and manage shifts, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and foster a positive team spirit.
- Prioritise workloads effectively and ensure smooth shift operations.
- Be available for on-call emergencies.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home care setting.
- Qualification/experience in the Safe Handling of Medicines.
- Genuine interest in and experience working with older adults.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Satisfactory DBS check.
