Financial Planning Analyst

Our award-winning client, based in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking a skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This role involves reporting to the Planning and Treasury Manager, focusing on analysing and reporting key management information.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing weekly sales reports and forecasts, developing annual budgets, handling various treasury-related tasks, and collecting and reporting data
- Project and track daily cash flow requirements, consistently updating cash flow and balance sheet forecasts.
- Compile and present weekly sales data along with other management insights, ensuring regular updates to period projections and forecasts.
- Take a leading role in coordinating and managing the period update process, developing annual budgets, and contributing to the revisions of the long term business plan.
- Create periodic and quarterly P&L budget reports, evaluate variances, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and validate bank transactions, card charges, interest earnings, and accruals.
- Support the management and review of foreign currency needs.
- Assist in collecting and analysing data metrics whilst offering support and recommendations.
