Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Head of People Operations and Development, you will deliver comprehensive administrative assistance for a specific sector that plays a vital role in executing high-quality People processes aligned with our commitments and values.

  • Facilitate onboarding procedures, including new employee orientation, training schedules, and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Ensure precise entry and upkeep of employee data in HRIS systems.
  • Assist in the implementation and dissemination of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees are informed about and adhere to company policies.
  • Support payroll processing and guarantee accurate and timely submissions.
  • Address employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.
  • Help resolve employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the HR department.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in providing administrative support, ideally within a professional HR shared service setting.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering standard documentation.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various systems and databases, including strong keyboard skills and a solid understanding of MS Office.
  • Experience with Excel, including the ability to use formulas.
  • Familiarity with HRIS software.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage your workload effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPD / CIPP qualification or progress towards it.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
