About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Presentation Team Member - Fleet Maintenance. As a key member of our bus presentation and turnaround team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet of vehicles is presented to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work primarily within the bus presentation and turnaround team to ensure vehicles are safely fuelled, positioned, and parked ready for the next day of service.
  • Carry out general vehicle presentation and yard housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required to perform duties efficiently.

Working Hours and Location

This role involves working 39 hours per week, with a 5-day working week and late shifts. The location of this role is Ipswich.

Hourly Rate and Benefits

The hourly rate for this role is £12.20, with the opportunity to earn an additional 20p per hour if you hold a PCV licence. As a member of our team, you will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including free travel on our buses for you and your family, a pension scheme, and the chance to buy discounted First Group shares.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a full driving licence is required for this role.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or a related field is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
