Located in a picturesque area near Bath (driving required)

Type of Establishment:
Hospitality venue
Working hours - 45 hours per week.
Our establishment is a dining venue with accommodation options situated near Bath. We are in search of a skilled Assistant Pastry Chef to enhance our team.

Our menu features seasonal dishes crafted from ingredients sourced within a 25-mile radius, making knowledge of fresh produce essential for candidates.

Key responsibilities (not exhaustive)
*Supervise the smooth operation of our pastry department, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved.
*Create a variety of desserts that incorporate ingredients from our kitchen garden and local suppliers.
*Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen garden team regarding the ingredients utilized in the pastry section.
*Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
*Assist in the training and development of our kitchen staff, particularly our Apprentice Chefs.
Required skills and experience
*Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
*Passion for culinary arts and pastry making
*Leadership skills to manage a small team
*Previous experience in a comparable role and establishment
