An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team on Ward C2, a 24-bedded General Internal Medicine Ward at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the patient and relative experience.
Main DutiesYou will be responsible for undertaking mandatory training to enhance your knowledge and skills, and will possess well-developed communication skills to engage and motivate staff and patients. Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload. In return, we will enable you to develop your clinical and leadership skills with the support of the Senior Nursing team.

Detailed Job Description and Main ResponsibilitiesA flexible approach and the ability to respond to the demands of a rapidly changing acute clinical environment are essential. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care without direct supervision. You will work within a team and assist in the monitoring of performance, providing education and support to junior members of the team.

- Be proficient at calculating drug doses
