As an Integrated Support Engineer - Quality and Validation, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality and validation of Technical Publications with regard to technical accuracy and specification. This includes maintaining records and logs of all quality and validation activities conducted.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform planned quality checks for technical, specification, and editorial conformity in relation to contracted and/or industry standards for Technical information produced by GP Strategies.
  • Build a working relationship with all stakeholders within the validation environment.
  • Ensure industry standards and regulatory documentation are aligned to the departmental strategy and processes to ensure departmental deliverables are to the correct standards and specifications.

**Requirements**

  • Previous aircraft engineering experience, preferably on Merlin and Wildcat helicopters.
  • Previous experience as senior author of aircraft publications.
  • Detailed knowledge of air publication specifications, such as ASD Spec 1000D, ASD Spec 2000M, MilSpec1388 LSAR, DADS, DAvP 70/77, ATA02/90, ATA100, etc.
  • Knowledge of technical authoring and production tools, such as Framemaker, Eagle Publishing System (EPS), and CAPS2000.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent inter-personal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work to changing deadlines under pressure.
  • Keyboard skills, a working knowledge of computers and computer system applications.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team as well as independently.
  • Good working knowledge of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE-100).

**Additional Requirements**

  • Experience of current MoD/MilEx aircraft systems and publications would be advantageous.
