We're seeking a highly skilled Integrated Support Engineer – Quality and Validation to ensure the technical accuracy and specification of our Technical Publications. This role involves maintaining records and logs of quality and validation activities, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring industry standards and regulatory documentation align with our departmental strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality checks for technical, specification, and editorial conformity in relation to contracted and/or industry standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders within the validation environment.
  • Ensure industry standards and regulatory documentation align with departmental strategy and processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous aircraft engineering experience, preferably on Merlin and Wildcat helicopters.
  • Senior author experience of aircraft publications.
  • Detailed knowledge of air publication specifications, such as ASD Spec 1000D and MilSpec1388 LSAR.
  • Technical authoring and production tools experience, including Framemaker and Eagle Publishing System (EPS).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Keyboard skills and working knowledge of computers and computer system applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team.
  • Good working knowledge of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE-100).
