The Opportunity: Disability Assessor

We are seeking compassionate and experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as Disability Assessors. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) process, conducted on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals experiencing various health conditions to understand how their disabilities impact their daily lives.
  • Engage in meaningful consultations, either remotely or in-person, utilizing your clinical expertise to gather detailed information.
  • Analyze medical records and documentation to form a clear and impartial understanding of the individual's circumstances.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that accurately reflect your findings and support the DWP decision-making process.

Your Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with current NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience in the UK healthcare system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using technology for assessments and reporting.
