Procurement Coordinator

The ideal candidate will possess a background in the Automotive sector and demonstrate a solid foundation in Purchasing Coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process daily purchase order requests from various departments within the organization.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and identifying procurement needs.
- Participate in monthly meetings with key suppliers.
- Engage in daily team meetings focused on supply chain performance.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of purchase system records.
- Conduct in-house evaluations for new suppliers and complete necessary setup documentation for finance processing.
- Oversee stock monitoring and replenishment of essential supplies such as PPE, stationery, and refreshments.
Collaborate with Goods-In/Stores personnel to ensure delivery documentation is accurately processed, matched, and archived for auditing purposes.
Address invoice discrepancies and regularly review query reports, documenting follow-up actions.
Manage daily courier collection and delivery logs, ensuring all packages reach their intended destinations while reporting any delays or damages. This includes initiating investigations and claims with courier services as needed.
Assist with quarterly inventory counts and related preparations, including system updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in a purchasing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good numerical skills with the ability to analyze spreadsheet data.
Compensation: Salary ranges from 25K to 27K, commensurate with experience. Standard working hours are from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour lunch break. Enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
