Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT. As a key member of our Integrated Community Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across Derby City.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of District Nurses, providing clinical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of nursing services within Derby City, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to drive change and improvement.

Requirements

  • First Level registered Nurse
  • Specialist Community Practice District Nursing Qualification
  • Evidence of recent post-registration/professional learning
  • Prescribing Qualification (either V100, V150 or V300)

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Comprehensive understanding of national and local policy in relation to community health services
  • Understanding of partnership and integrated team working
  • Proven track record of leading change and influencing practice
