Job Title: Band 7 District Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT. As a Band 7 District Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across Derby City.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of District Nurses, providing clinical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of nursing services within Derby City, working closely with the wider Integrated Community Team.

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is a leading provider of community health services, caring for patients in Derbyshire and Derby. We employ around 4,200 staff, working in a variety of settings, including community hospitals, health centres, clinics, and in patients' own homes.

Requirements:

  • First Level registered Nurse
  • Specialist Community Practice District Nursing Qualification
  • Evidence of recent post-registration/professional learning
  • Prescribing Qualification (either V100, V150 or V300)

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership and ability to manage a team

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be based at Coleman Health Centre in Derby City.
