Your Responsibilities
As a Service Specialist at The Standard, London, you will be an integral part of our exceptional dining team. You should possess a passion for service, exceptional organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of restaurant and bar operations.
Your role will involve a deep knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, allowing you to confidently engage with guests and enhance their dining experience. You should be sociable, upbeat, and friendly, able to thrive in a high-energy environment while managing multiple tasks and guests seamlessly.
Qualifications for the Role
We value attention to detail in design and guest experience, yet we maintain a light-hearted approach. Our team members are dynamic, engaging, and vibrant.
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- Prior experience in a similar role, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of guests.
- A solid understanding of restaurant operations and service protocols, coupled with a passion for food and beverages.
- Good knowledge of drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to make informed recommendations.
- A proactive and social demeanor, demonstrating professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
- Full-time availability with flexibility to work various shifts, including late nights.
- A diverse skill set is welcomed, including candidates from the arts, music, and entertainment sectors.
- Experience with Squirrel EPOS is a plus, though training will be provided.
