Job Title: Breast Radiology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Radiology Consultant to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, with a focus on breast imaging.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology, with a subspecialty interest in breast imaging. You will be expected to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including diagnostic imaging, reporting, and consultation. You will also be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality imaging services to patients, including diagnostic imaging and reporting
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of radiology staff and students
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • FRCP or equivalent qualification in radiology
  • Experience in breast imaging and subspecialty training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
