Criminology Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a Criminology Graduate to join our team at Academics, working with a school for children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

About the Role

As a Criminology Graduate, you will be working closely with teachers and therapists to provide support to children with a range of learning difficulties and behavioral challenges. Your daily responsibilities will include completing administrative tasks, supporting children with their academic work, and de-escalating situations if a child becomes agitated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting children with their academic work and daily needs
  • Completing administrative tasks and reports
  • De-escalating situations and providing emotional support to children
  • Working with teachers and therapists to develop learning plans and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a child and adult DBS, a commitment to working with children with special needs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have empathy and resilience, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
