We are seeking a Criminology Graduate to join our team at Academics, working with a school for children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

About the Role

As a Criminology Graduate, you will be working alongside teachers and therapists to provide support to children and young adults with a range of learning difficulties and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing administrative tasks and supporting teachers with lesson planning
  • Providing academic support to children and helping them with their work
  • De-escalating situations and supporting children with emotional regulation
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as eating and toileting
  • Working with teachers to establish learning outcomes and supervising children on campus
Requirements
  • A child and adult DBS (we can support your application if you do not currently have one)
  • No restrictions on working with children
  • Commitment to the role and a desire to work with children with Special Needs
  • Empathy and resilience
