Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, and inspections to ensure the smooth operation of our building services equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Respond promptly to reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, and carry out repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the coordination of visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PPM schedules.
  • Respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the electrical services aspects of the contract as required.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognized equivalent; or Health and Safety Training.
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification.
  • Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
  • Experienced in High Voltage switching.
  • Good Mechanical experience/knowledge.
  • C&G in a Mechanical discipline or recognized equivalent (ie NVQ).
  • Good knowledge of AHU's, FCU's, AC systems, Pumps, Motors, Pipework, Plumbing and Drainage systems.
  • A good understanding of Critical Systems and Non-Critical systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
  • Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
  • Experience in computer PPM management systems.
  • Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
  • Supervisory experience for future development.
