About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our cleaning and support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks in clinical and non-clinical areas, including patient rooms, toilets, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
  • Work from a daily/weekly schedule, ensuring that the hospital is clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Participate in deep-cleaning operations and special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve cleaning and support goals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cleaning or support role.
  • Ability to read simple data and apply basic calculations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Desirable: knowledge of COSHH, experience in cleaning protocols, and understanding of patient and customer focus.
