About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our expanding Quality team at our Head Office site in Barton-upon-Humber. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work within a designated department and team to conduct rigorous quality control checks on all products and units prior to packaging and dispatch.
- Verify product labels to ensure accuracy and consistency, including type, color, size, edge banding, frontal, fittings, and other accessories.
- Monitor and report any quality issues to the Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor, Quality Team Leader, and Quality Captain.
- Perform minor repairs on defective products in line with our Quality standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and address quality issues.
- Participate in daily quality toolbox talks to discuss ongoing issues and projects.
- Comply with quality check sheets and identify trending patterns.
- Provide support to the Quality Captain and manufacturing teams as needed.
- Maintain high-quality manufacturing systems to meet ISO 9001 standards.
