About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Ceredigion County Council. As a key member of our ICT department, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing the skills of junior team members, as well as identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
