Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Shirley

Salary: £20,900 - £21,500

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school on the borders of Solihull. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and inspiring young people with difficulties associated with autism who cannot access traditional modes of education.

About the Role:
  • Support and inspire young people with autism in a learner-centred environment
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting their well-being and confidence
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as needed
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
  • 6 months of recent experience in a similar role
  • Driving Licence preferred
  • DBS update service (Desirable)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
