About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Arboricultural Consultant to join our team at Latcom plc. As a leading natural environment consultancy, we provide expert services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct BS5837 surveys, utility surveys, and tree safety evaluations using state-of-the-art GIS mapping software.
  • Prepare technical reports to support utility installations, planning applications, and other tree safety activities.
  • Supervise the work of the Arboricultural clerk of works, ensuring project management and quality control.
  • Direct tree protection audits and provide on-the-spot guidance.
  • Support project cost and scope estimation.
Requirements
  • Hold a NQF Level 3 qualification in arboriculture, with practical experience.
  • Be willing to participate in on-site training programmes to enhance skills.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology integrated into our workflow.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability and a solutions-driven approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold a full UK driver's licence.
