Job Title: Principal/Lead Arboricultural Consultant

Join our team of experts at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Principal/Lead Arboricultural Consultant to lead our arboricultural team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned arboricultural professional to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of arboricultural projects from inception to completion. As a Principal/Lead Arboricultural Consultant, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to the arboricultural team, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the arboricultural team, providing expert guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of arboricultural projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored arboricultural solutions.
  • Conduct detailed tree inspections, surveys, and assessments, providing expert advice on tree health, preservation, and management.
  • Prepare comprehensive arboricultural reports, including impact assessments, method statements, and management plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing tenders and promoting our arboricultural services.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related field is ideal.
  • Good experience in arboricultural consultancy.
  • Professional membership with the Arboricultural Association or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in arboricultural software and tools.
