Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to collaborate on achieving cost reductions in food and beverage expenditures.
- Design and implement category and sourcing strategies while identifying market opportunities to ensure the company remains a leader in its field.
- Prepare and execute strategies in anticipation of upcoming projects, contract expirations, and market shifts that could impact the organization.
- Guide and assess the performance of procurement team members to ensure sourcing strategies and tender results are optimized for commercial success.
- Evaluate and mitigate commodity risks, track market trends, and develop strategies with suppliers to address future challenges.
- Commit to sustainable sourcing practices and ensure compliance with contracts and frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven commercial acumen and comprehensive procurement experience in the Food and Beverage sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing or category management.
- Strong negotiation skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to engage and persuade senior stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings in fluctuating market conditions.
- Experience in strategic-level procurement.
