Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planning Professional to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a Senior Construction Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with front-end development processes, planning and scheduling client work packages, and working with clients, consultants, and contractors to schedule planning, permitting, and other regulatory approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with front-end development processes, including knowledge of FEL gates
  • Plan and schedule client work packages
  • Work with clients, consultants, and contractors to schedule planning, permitting, and other regulatory approvals
  • Challenge client and contractor schedules, including demonstrating the basis for challenge
  • Review progress submissions from contractors and provide advice and guidance to clients
  • Lead schedule reviews and meetings with contractors on behalf of clients
  • Schedule interactive planning reviews and what-if analysis
  • Provide schedule input to client project teams and business support functions (e.g., finance)
  • Provide ad-hoc support to clients as needed

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a senior commercial role on major capital projects (£100m-£1bn)
  • Experience with major EPC or EPCM contracts, either client or contractor side
  • Strong planning background, ideally client-side, with knowledge of risk management

Industry: Chemical and industrial (or oil and gas)

Skills: Civil, mechanical, pipework, electrical, instrumentation, access, insulation, painting within the industrial sector (power, chemical, oil, gas, etc.)
