About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance and Sustainability Specialist to join our client's dynamic manufacturing business. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Business Improvement team to develop and implement compliance and sustainability projects.
  • Build expertise in compliance and sustainability, working closely with external bodies and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance operations and policies.
  • Provide training and support across the business on compliance issues, becoming a key point of contact for accrediting bodies.
  • Support Product Management to ensure new and existing products meet compliance standards, offering guidance on product development.
  • Drive energy and carbon reduction initiatives, aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
  • Organise and prepare for external audits, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Experience working within a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
