The Project


As a seasoned Fit-Out Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the site team, overseeing the fit-out packages for a substantial new build industrial project.

Your responsibilities will include managing the fit-out process to ensure it aligns with the client's vision and specifications, while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following professional credentials:

SMSTS
Valid CSCS Card
First Aid Certification

Additionally, you should have the following experience:

- A robust background in the industry with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role for a leading contractor.
- Proven experience in managing projects within the industrial sector is highly desirable; however, candidates with a strong history in a Fit-Out Manager position on large-scale developments will also be considered.

Duties:
- Procurement management
- Conducting toolbox talks
- Supervising subcontractors
- Directing fit-out teams
- Ensuring health and safety compliance on site
- Managing custom design adjustments during the fit-out process
- Performing regular inspections to evaluate workmanship quality and materials used
- Identifying potential safety hazards and implementing corrective measures
- Creating and overseeing comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Maintaining accurate records of all project documentation, including contracts and progress reports
- Ensuring all fit-out works meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations
- Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges
- Monitoring and managing the project budget, including cost estimation and expenditure tracking
- Coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with design plans
- Supervising the execution of interior design and fit-out specifications to meet project vision and client requirements
- Communicating regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with fit-out works.

Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the fit-out process is essential to ensure minimal disruption to the project timeline.
