About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to develop and implement risk assessments and method statements.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
  • Minimum NEBOSH certificate and membership of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
  • Strong mechanical or scaffolding background and experience working in the power industry.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites in the north west and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
