Steel Fixing Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our team at O'Halloran & O'Brien Ltd. As a Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Read and interpret working plans and steel lists to set out the work accurately
* Cut and assemble steel bars or mesh to the required length and specifications
* Prefabricate steel reinforcement for beams, cages, pile caps, columns, and walls
* Join prefabricated units together for large sections of high-rise or civil projects

**Key Skills and Qualifications:**

* NVQ Steel Fixing qualification
* 1 year of experience in steel fixing (required)
* 2 years of experience in steel fixing (preferable)
* Valid CSCS card
* Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
* Willingness to attend training programs to increase individual skills and knowledge
