About the Role:
A remarkable opportunity is available for a dedicated Operating Room Nurse to become part of a prestigious Private Healthcare Facility in Tunbridge Wells. This facility features state-of-the-art amenities, including two operating rooms, a sterile services unit, an endoscopy suite, and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The facility also provides outpatient and physiotherapy services six days a week. This is an excellent chance for a committed Operating Room Nurse to join a supportive and skilled surgical team. The team is devoted to delivering exceptional care and prioritizes patient welfare, seeking a like-minded professional to join their ranks.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Operating Room Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in scrubbing for surgeries led by consultants
- Scrubbing for various surgical procedures, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Breast, and Ophthalmic
- Managing the ordering and storage of specialized surgical kits
- Maintaining and updating preference cards for surgeons
Candidate Profile:
- Must be NMC/HCPC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of two years of UK experience as a Scrub Nurse
- Orthopaedic experience is highly desirable
- ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications are advantageous
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
