We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner/Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housing disrepair claims and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team in a leading law firm. As a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner/Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of housing disrepair claims, working closely with clients to understand their needs and providing expert advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims, including conducting site visits, gathering evidence, and preparing and presenting cases in court.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and guidance on housing disrepair matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
- Meet billing targets and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
- At least three years of experience in handling housing disrepair claims, with a strong background in litigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
- Proven track record of meeting billing targets and contributing to the growth and success of the team.
