**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage a full caseload of Housing Disrepair claims from initial instruction to conclusion, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and relevant case law.
  • Provide expert advice to clients throughout the process, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and communicating effectively with clients, opposing solicitors, and experts.
  • Work independently and handle cases with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and timely progression of cases.
  • Maintain a high level of client care, keeping clients updated and informed throughout their case.
  • Meet performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the efficient management of cases.
  • Conduct negotiations and settlements, while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 3 years' experience in handling your own caseload of Housing Disrepair claims.
  • Strong knowledge of Housing Disrepair law, statutory legislation, and relevant case law.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing a busy caseload efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
