SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good Ofsted-rated school in Havering.

About the Role:

  • Work 1:1 with a child in a primary school with Autism
  • Support a student with challenging behaviours and non-verbal communication
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
  • Competitive daily rate: £80-£95
  • Initial trial day/week to ensure a successful partnership

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with young children with Autism
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
  • Knowledge of Makaton or PECS communication methods
  • Child-only DBS on the online update service
