About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ardleigh Green Junior School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in small groups and one-to-one, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Work with the class teacher to provide support where needed, including preparing materials and resources
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
  • Be aware of any safeguarding concerns and know how to report them
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and students
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to apply for one
