Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) / Registered Midwife (RM)
  • Specialized training in Neonatal Intensive Care / ENB 405 or equivalent
  • Teaching and Assessing qualification, such as ENB 998 course or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a senior nurse at Band 6 with demonstrated leadership capabilities

Desirable Qualifications

  • Current Neonatal Life Support (NLS) certification

Core Competencies

Essential Skills

  • Ability to coordinate and manage daily unit activities and a large multidisciplinary team
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Understanding of risk management principles
  • Thorough knowledge of Trust safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
