Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal intensive care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

The Neonatal Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing expert care to critically ill newborns, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in education and training programs, sharing their expertise with colleagues and contributing to the development of our neonatal service.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a strong background in neonatal intensive care
  • ENB 405 or equivalent qualification
  • Teaching and Assessing qualification ENB 998 course or equivalent
  • Experience as a senior Band 6 neonatal nurse
  • Demonstrates the potential for leadership
  • Evidence of enthusiasm for developing Neonatal practice and continuing professional development

Desirable Criteria

  • Diploma / Degree in Nursing
  • Leadership course/qualification or experience
  • Current NLS certificate
  • Excellent presentation and ICT skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of valve and use of research findings
