Position Overview

At Diverse Abilities, we understand that outstanding care begins with remarkable individuals who possess a joyful perspective on life and the ability to think creatively. We are seeking a compassionate and approachable Care Worker to become a vital member of our Children's Team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting children and young individuals in creating unforgettable experiences. Each day will present unique opportunities, allowing you to engage in a variety of enjoyable activities.

You will have the opportunity to interact with children and their families, facilitating activities that would not be possible without your support. Your work will span across our two respite facilities and the homes of the families we serve. While a full driving license is not mandatory, you will need to travel to multiple locations. If you have not yet obtained your Diploma Level 3 (child-specific), we will provide support to help you achieve this qualification.

Bonuses

We are pleased to offer the following bonuses as you progress through your time with Diverse Abilities:

  • £200 after 12 months of service
  • £500 after 24 months of service
  • £100 upon completion of training
  • £200 after passing the six-month probation period

We also provide long service awards at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25+ years, which include vouchers and additional paid time off.

Requirements for this Position

- Full UK Manual driving license and access to your own vehicle

- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team in a health and social care setting
