Salary: £70k + £550 Car Allowance P/M + 22.5% Annual Bonus + Private Medical Insurance

Location: Home based, covering sites across the north east of England.

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a crucial role in protecting our commercial interests and managing relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the commercial interests of the delivery team are protected at all times
  • Manage the commercial relationship with clients, including contract negotiation and administration
  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff within the team, promoting good working relationships and a respectful, professional environment
  • Demonstrate awareness of and assist the site team to ensure compliance with all HSEQ and statutory regulations
  • Comply with all Veolia policies and procedures, including those related to estimating, cost control, and change management
  • Support project procurement and provide timely, high-quality management reports to the senior leadership team as requested
  • Provide commercial support to other business departments and manage day-to-day commercial issues and administration

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in client management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving
  • Thorough knowledge of forms of contract, including NEC
  • Experience working for a main contractor, preferably in the energy sector
