Your Team

The MetaDriver team is a collective of experts focused on integrating generative AI, digital twins, and simulation technologies to expedite the machine learning and testing processes for self-driving systems prior to and during real-world applications. You will be part of the Oxa MetaDriver Team, which is tasked with delivering these advanced technologies to both internal stakeholders and external clients. This diverse team encompasses various disciplines, including machine learning, simulation, application development, cloud engineering, and data acquisition.

Your Responsibilities

  • Focus on validating the application of simulation and modeling techniques within the MetaDriver stream, initially concentrating on simulation validation.
  • Develop and oversee a Simulation and Modeling Management System to be integrated into the Oxa Assurance framework and certification protocols.
  • Prepare, organize, and execute tests of simulation assumptions against real-world data as required.
  • Contribute to the Simulation roadmap and identify current or future gaps in the requirements of Oxa teams.
  • Assist in the development of software sensor models.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices (e.g., ASAM).
  • Collaborate with Stream/SAT leads to monitor progress (e.g., using Jira).
  • Promote and advocate for stream activities throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Simulation and Modeling Management: Proficient in analyzing existing systems, identifying deficiencies, documenting, and constructing validation cases.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of intricate technical systems (e.g., robotics), with the ability to translate technical and product terminology for external stakeholders. Capable of independently prioritizing and identifying strategic needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working across departments to achieve validation objectives (e.g., testing sensor models on launchpad & Reference Platform).
  • Data Analysis: Competent in gathering metrics and employing statistical methods to validate systems.
  • Effective Communication: Able to articulate and disseminate results effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building simulators or game engines.
  • Familiarity with vendors such as Nvidia/RFPro.
  • Knowledge of defining coverage and evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience in creating or training machine learning models.
