Job Opportunity:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a skilled and experienced SEN Humanities Teacher to join our team at an Independent Specialist Behavioural Needs School in London.
Vacancy Details:
- Position: SEN Humanities Teacher (KS4)
- School Type: Independent Specialist Behavioural Needs School
- Hours: Full Time, 5 days per week
- Contract: Long-term position with potential to turn into a permanent placement
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for teaching Humanities to Key Stage 4 students with diverse learning needs. This requires proficiency in teaching across varied abilities. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and assessing all lessons. Initially, this is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), teaching qualifications, or relevant teaching experience within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
- Experience in teaching Humanities or SEN pupils
- Specialised SEN teaching experience is essential
- A valid DBS check on the update service
- The right to work full-time in the UK
