Marine Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Claims Manager to join our team at High Finance (UK) Limited. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine liability, hull, and cargo claims, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the London Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and provide feedback to underwriters and management on claim structure and risk information to enhance underwriting standards within the company.
- Supervise the recruitment and training of staff.
- Ensure compliance with Lloyds minimum standards and provide support to underwriters and claims adjusters.
- Manage claims within company guidelines and SLA's.
- Generate departmental reports on SLA's and metrics on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Attend market meetings and conference calls as needed.
- Ensure fair treatment of customers and handle complaints in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor staff recruitment and training to meet CPD requirements.
- Uphold core values in all interactions.
- Complete any additional projects or tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 15+ years experience adjusting London Market Marine Claims.
- Ideally 5 years management experience.
